I'm not very good at predictions, but two years ago I predicted that Remus would die. And when he arrived at GP and tried to help Harry, I thought, "Uh-oh, he's going to die."
As an R/S shipper, what did you think? I took that baby and the pictures in Sirius's room as a sure sign that JKR wanted to make sure we knew they were straight in her mind.
Oh yeah, the bikini clad babes were definitely aimed at us.
As for the baby...well, JKR established in HBP that Remus likes girls. Fortunately, we slashers are a flexible lot and easily revised Remus from "gay" to "bi."
I know, but I can't see him liking girls at all...I still try to convince myself that he was one of those gay guys who get married, just because they want a family.

Meh, I'm not concerned in the least. I figure the pictures were just one more way for Sirius to infuriate his mother... remember, the pictures were of *Muggle* girls-- I think the Muggle part, along with the crass display of bikinis, would have just about driven the old bag to distraction. Besides... he was still young, and conflicted about his sexuality. Yeah, that's it! ;)
As for Remus... well, I adore Tonks as a character, but I've always imagined that she was never more than a replacement for Sirius. Like Mysid said, we've been finding all sorts of ways to justify Remus/Tonks since HBP. I like to think that the two 'ships can peacefully coexist.
Fear not! There's always a work-around if you look hard enough. It's all about context. ;D
