Unfortunately, speaking as one with "mysterious" bank and mail problems following the PATRIOT Act (How dare I write letters to the editor!), 1984 was already here. That and the surveillance cameras in England. :( But I did write Warriors for Innocence a succinct letter explaining who actually writes fanfiction. Those pesky women pretending to be men!
