What should I be writing? My second entry of the Remus/Sirius FQF It's due in less than a month. Two false starts, and I haven't gotten anywhere.

What should I be writing? The next chapter of "Choosing the Head Boy." My last update was almost a year ago.

What am I writing? A completely unnecessary sequel to "Scent of a Mate." (I kept wondering how things would work out for AU Remus and Sirius once they finally met.)

In other news, I saw The Talented Mr. Ripley on tv last week. (Just the last 45 minutes or so, actually.) Oh my god--the ending was horrifying! The entire final scene I was begging him, "Not Peter! Please don't kill Peter. He loves you. You love him!" Even when he went back to his cabin, alone, and looked shattered, I was so hoping that he looked shattered because he couldn't kill Peter and knew he'd get caught. But I knew I was wrong.

Can someone tell me if the book is worth reading? It was a book first, wasn't it? Or am I imagining things?

I haven't read the book so I can't help you there but my god! that ending! It *kills* me every time. I'm soft about the entire relationship to be honest ... *loves on Jack Davenport as Peter*

Much as it hurts I feel the ending really makes the film.

I think it was a series of books. I don't know if the film is based on a specific one or is an amalgam of ideas.

I was wondering when either "Choosing the Head Boy" or "Cave Canem" was going to be updated. If you ever do update "Choosing the Head Boy," I'll have to go reread the story. ;)
However, I'm excited you're continuing "Scent of a Mate." I loved that story and I thought the ending was great. Good luck!

No clue about the book but I LOVELOVELOVE the movie. I was breathless at the end. But you only saw the last 45 minutes? The whole movie is definitely worth renting.

And...and...well. I'm on the edge of my seat for another FQF story from you, and of COURSE I've been dying for another chapter of Choosing the Head Boy, but yay, I could definitely go for a sequel to Scent of a Mate. I thought the story was wonderful by itself, but a sequel would certainly be gobbled up by hungry eyes as soon as you finished it. :)

I know what you mean about the false starts for the FQF fic, too. I'm in the exact same boat. The problem with my idea is that it's going to be a LONG story, and I think that it's sort of come to the point where it's daunting.

By the way, did you get my email about the completely unnecessary story that *I* wrote? Guh, I need to get back into the R/S mode.

Have to watch Ripley again - it's been a long time since I last saw it. Great movie, great acting! It was a book, and there are more in the series - never read any of them, but probably should add them to my ever growing list...

A sequel to "Scent of a Mate" is not unnecessary by any means - please write it! I would love to know what happens next. And you know what I think about "Head Boy", so I won't pester you with it.
