Forgive my ignorance

I've been seeing "PWN" and its variations (PWNed, PWNage, PWNing) quite a bit lately, but I haven't been able to figure out what it means. Help?

But of course. Encyclopedia dramatica cracks me up.

It kills me-- I am not old by anyone's standard, but when I get emails from my 22-year-old assistant or my 17-year-old cousin, I feel like a 90-year-old! And I'm embarrassed to write back and say "I have absolutely no freaking clue what you're talking about."

(My assistant actually says "OMG." as in, I hear her say "Oh-EM-GEE!" I told her if she said it in my presence ever again, I would strangle her with her own mouse cord. To which she replied: "LOL!" That is why I love her.)
