eBay is addictive. Seriously.

This is how they suck you in: You find something you want to bid one--"Just this one thing"--and then when you go back to eBay to check on it's status--"Am I still the highest bidder?"--you find just one more thing you want to bid on.

I got hooked for a while last year--buying china to match some I'd inherited--and then I was a good girl and stayed far, far away for many, many months. Now I'm back. I recently purchased two items, bid on another that I didn't get, and I have one bid--the biggest bid I've ever made--still pending. Are they things I need? No. They are completely useless items that I happen to collect.*

*If you really must know, I collect fraternity/sorority pins. So far, I have my sorority pin, my honor society pin, my husband's fraternity pin, his grandfather's pin, and three pins of (probably) local fraternities/sororities. (Mine was a local, so I have a soft spot for those. Plus they tend to cost less!) I also have dibs on my mom's and dad's pins. Mom knows I collect them, so she said that I can have them some day.

Well heck. I have about 50 union pins, but that's no use to you. Getting rid of them (they adorn my office wall) is on my list of "clean up your life" projects. :)

Put 'em on eBay! Someone will buy them. (I guarantee it.)
