A guy in my hubby's fraternity had a waterbed. He and his girlfriend fell asleep on it one evening and awoke during the night feeling damp. Their story was, the post of her pearl earring punctured it. (I find that doubtful; waterbeds are made of tough plastic.)
They were able to patch it, but I'm sure they were a bit more careful in the future.
I've heard of jewelry puncturing waterbeds before. I think I'd like to own a water-couch. I'm not really sure they make them, but I think it could be pretty cool.
Me too, since before Elizabeth was born. I have fantastic ideas but no interest in working on them. Which I suppose is better than no ideas. How are your little ones?
If Elizabeth and I weren't sick all the time, I think it would be so much easier. Sometimes I think she's harder than twins, but I don't have proof to compare of course. (Oh lord, thinking of twins with food allergies, GERD, and colic is a scary thought!) Interestingly, things shifted around so that sex is much more fun. Didn't do much before.
Oh that's so good. I was wondering how she was doing. I'm so glad to hear she's feeling well.
I feel your pain. I have to write on a regular basis for work, and it's just been such a drag lately. I'm forcing every word. :-/ Hope your funk ends soon.
I completely feel your pain. In fact I just posted something on my lj expressing the same feeling. (Just catching up on my flist now)
I'm hoping the holiday season will kick start it - that and I've agreed to do a multi-part fic with Trueriver, so that should put some pressure on the muse. *fingers crossed*
It's a pity, I liked very much the stories you wrote. You have a fine touch with friendship, and friends in the edge to be, or just become, lovers. I like very much the arc in with Uncle Alphard helps Sirius to recognize that he is gay, and the miniserie "Gaining A Son". Read more of that would be lovely! Also I liked a wip you wrote some time ago, titled something like "choosing the head boy". I enjoyed how you display the various growing personality (James! and Lily!), the motivations of each characters, and -at last but not so much at last- I loved the little hint of Remus/Sirius, barely aware of their attraction. I hope that, one day, you'll write more about that. :)
