Well, in the meantime, Belgium permits it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage_in_Belgium), and you probably live closer (geographically) to Belgium than I do to California. Unfortunately, at least one partner has to reside in Begium for a minimum of three months to qualify for a marriage license there.
