Another (baby) step in the right direction

New York State will now recognize same-sex marriages. Same-sex couples still can't marry there, but if they are legally married elsewhere (Massachusetts, California, Canada, etc.), New York will recognize it as a valid, legal marriage. It may be a small step forward, but it IS a step forward.
