mysidI spoiled DH for my hubby--or did I?
As soon as I finished reading DH, I headed across the street to discuss it with a neighbor, Laura, whom I thought would be done reading it. (We stood in line together--along with two other neighbors--to buy it, and she was able to start reading before I was.) Unfortunately, she was only halfway through, but she promised to come over and discuss it with me when she finished.
She showed up today, and we dove in to discussing it. Hubby came home half way through our discussion, and since he's just getting started with the book, he immediately skedaddled into another room. He made the mistake of returning to a room adjacent to where we were and overheard something he didn't want to. Quick retreat so he didn't hear more.
Later, he told me that he'd overheard that someone died.
"Who?" I asked?
"Harry," he replied, "but we figured that would probably happen."
"Ahh," I murmured and turned away to hide my smile. Not so spoiled then.
