“Surprised me,” Sirius admitted. “The main characters were a bit of a surprise to me. So normal, you know?” Remus nodded but looked down again. “Someone like Ralph or Laurie, I wouldn’t mind being friends with.” When Remus continued to stare at the floor, Sirius decided to be even more blunt. “Nor would I mind finding out that a friend of mine was like Laurie or Ralph.” This is both beautifully written and spot on about understanding. It had me in tears, in a good way.
