Facebook, Twitter, and Dreamwidth
Sep. 2nd, 2010 07:52 pmI don't have Facebook or Twitter because I'm not interested in "social networking" in my real name. The anonymity of being mysid on LJ suits me fine. That being said, it should be obvious that I do not want anything I post here being crossposted to someone's Facebook page or Twitter "tweets".
Some people are using this latest idiocy of LJ's as a reason to switch to Dreamwidth. I opened a DW account during LJ's last episode of asshattery, and I must say, it was ridiculously easy to crosspost every post I have at LJ to DW. DW gives you easy to follow instructions when you open your DW account.
Also, it is just as easy to crosspost entries written at DW to LJ. Whenever I write a new post, I do it at DW, and I check the box to crosspost at LJ. This post is a good example.
I'm mysid at DW. Feel free to friend me. And yes, I have DW codes if you'd like one.
