So...as I understand it, the new "Adult Concepts" and "Explicit Adult Content" warning labels will only effect you if you aren't signed in or if you are underage. As I never search LJ except when logged in, and I am well over age, it shouldn't effect me much.

I decided to go ahead and mark my two NC-17 stories as "Explicit," and I slapped the less restrictive label on my PG-13 and R rated stories. I am NOT considering--nor have I ever--homosexuality to require any higher rating than heterosexuality. Boys kissing boys does not require a label any more than boys kissing girls. Boys getting boys off gets a warning as would boys getting girls off--not that I write that.
I most definitely am NOT putting a warning label on my journal as a whole--just on certain entries.
The biggest problem with this whole new thing: flagging, also known as the "Rat on Others" feature. Oh good god--that's going to turn into a nightmare.
