Obligatory post
Oct. 6th, 2007 11:44 amSince I posted when I became ill, and posted again while still ill, I thought I ought to post at least once to say I am well once again. (About 98% well actually.) The ear infection has had the residual effects of leaving my hearing altered. I hear a constant buzz in that ear, and loud/high noises are both painful and difficult to understand. The vertigo is almost completely gone. I still feel a bit "off" if I move my head too quickly, but I can walk in a (reasonably) straight line, and I can drive again.
My first day truly out and about was Tuesday. My 10-year-old was going on a field trip to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, and I'd promised to chaperone. She really wanted me to go, and I had really been looking forward to going, so... A good time was had by all, and I recommend the place if you live within traveling distance.
