Schoolhouse Rocks!

I'm listening to an iPod playlist I call "Adult Ears Only" while my kids are in school--Last Day!--and Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" came on. You know how listening with earplugs you occasionally pick up things in the song that you ordinarily miss? Right at the beginning of this song, someone in the background sings, "I'm just a bill, sitting here on Capital Hill." [Giggle] Another "Schoolhouse Rock" fan!

And while we're on the subject of "She Bangs," I find it quite--um--intriguing that although Ricky is supposedly singing about a girl, he notes that he's "just another link in her daisy chain." Yeah, Ricky Martin is straight--just like George Michael.
