100 words! You can do it!
Feb. 5th, 2007 11:41 amThe
sirius_remus100 community needs a jolt of new energy. If you ship the pups, I hereby challenge you to write a drabble on this week's prompt: wool, or last week's: scar.
sirius_remus100 rules require the drabble to be 100 words exactly. The pairing can be obvious or between the lines, but must be Sirius/Remus. (I tend to write pre-slash myself.)
Whenever I get bogged down with writer's block, I find writing a drabble helps get me going again. It's a chance to write without having to make a major commitment to a long story. Also, the 100 word limit has been a good writing exercise for me. I have a tendency to be too wordy, so editing the length is good practice.
And this community is just right for me. Each week, a new prompt. Each week, I can write if I feel inspired, pass if I don't. There's no commitment, no pressure.
Doesn't it sound just right for you too?
Don't let
sirius_remus100 die; get out there and write, people!
