Hospital Visit
Jan. 8th, 2007 03:30 pmLet me start by saying that CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) is a wonderful place, and they completely deserve being named "Best Children's Hospital in the USA" year after year. But today, somebody dropped the ball. My daughter had an appointment at 10:00; we were kept waiting until noon.
( Read more... )They've decided that the time has come to put E. on the donor list, but she'll be a low priority number on the list. They will, however, increase the frequency of her blood tests--every three months. Based on what they said, my best guess is that she will not have a transplant within the next year, but it might happen at any time after that.
