A mind of her own
Mar. 21st, 2006 12:23 pmOutfit I chose for my five-year-old to wear to school today: a turtleneck shirt with bright primary-colored ladybugs and pants in one of those colors. Outfit she selected to wear instead: same turtleneck with lavender capri pants. Why? The capri pants have tiny pink ladybugs on them. "Bugs go with bugs."
Yesterday she insisted on a bright red shirt with maroon pants. "They don't go together, Sweetie." "Yes they do, Mommy. They're both red."
Her teacher must think I'm color-blind.
