(no subject)

It's quarter of eleven here at Children's Hospital. My daughter just fell asleep, and I've slipped out of the room to use the computer in the playroom down the hall. She had to have another endoscopy today, and tomorrow she's scheduled to have a MRV (an MRI of the blood vessels) of a cyst near her liver. The results of that will determine the next step in her treatment.

Between her health crises and the general holiday busy-ness, I haven't had the necessary concentration for any fanfic writing lately. Yeah, I know. Not a big surprise there. I am still interested in reading however, so don't let my temporary inactivity stop you!

I was quite thrilled to see an update on the shoebox_project recently. When an update appears on a serialized gem like that, it's Christmas come early. In a related vein, I'll have to see what's new with copperbadge's Laocoon's Children as soon as I finish typing this.
