Yes, Remus is perceptive, isn't he? But I think he came out of that breakfast conversation thinking that there was a slight chance that older-Sirius was gay--a better result than having to hear all about older-Sirius's wife and kids.

It's funny that you should mention a sequel. I wrote a scene for one just a couple of days ago, but then inspiration failed me. It's just as well; I should work on the sequel to "Scent of a Mate" instead.
