This was very insightful, and I gather from the comments that one of your improvements is not making Sirius swear his undying love to Remus in the end. That's a very nice twist, and it would take him longer than that to come to terms with his own thoughts and stuff.

A thoroughly enjoyable read, and I will definitely check out the original fiction you incorporated here so nicely!
