Shall we dance?

My family and I had dinner at my in-laws' on Saturday night. After dinner, our kids (8 year-old daughter and 5 year-old twins) performed a play for us.

It's the evening of the high school prom. Son enters, shoulders slumped, head hanging low. Older daughter walks up to him and asks, "What's wrong, Billy?" (Billy is his preferred name for make-believe.)

Billy replies, "I don't have a date for the prom."

She says, "I don't have a date either, and neither does my little sister."

He looks across the room and sees her, sitting all alone and looking just as sad. His face lights up. He rushes across the floor and asks, "Do you want to dance?"

"Yes," and they go hand in hand to the center of the room.

"But I don't want to dance the mango," says he.
