Yes! I finally submitted my FQF story.
Lia,
thescarletwoman, is the goddess of patience for being so flexible with the Sirius/Remus FQF deadline. (If you have no idea what I'm writing about, click
celticmoonstar now!)
My story is a combination of two challenges: one of the puppies feels underappreciated by the other, and the puppies celebrate an anniversary. I originally tried to write an angsty circa 1980 story, but that time period didn't lend itself to the happy ending I wanted to create with the anniversary.
After several false starts and much procrastination, I thought I'd never get it done. Then I mentioned the looming deadline to my husband. He turned into a combination cheerleader/conscience helping me find time to work on it. And he doesn't even like to read my stuff! Big kisses to my dh!
Now go check out the FQF to read "Man's Best Friend" and all the other wonderful stories there.
