Thank you for answering! I think my son may have used one of these in his classroom last year. (It matches what he descibed.) It may be just the thing to get him. It's not only durable, but less likely to be stolen than a laptop.

I just wish the display was bigger, as his teacher said that he writes better when he can easily look over what he's already written. I'll give it some thought.
